WHO DAY

    On 7/4/2012 at M.H.R D.A.V Institute of Nursing, Jalandhar WHO Day was celebrated with the theme “Ageing and Heath” with the slogan “Good Health adds years to life”. Program started with lamp lightning. Unfolding of the theme was done by Mrs. Gurjit Kaur (C.I). The meaning of the theme was to focus how good health throughout life can help older men and women to lead full and productive lives and be a resource for their families and communities. Ageing concern each and everyone of us, whether young or old, male or female, rich or poor, no matter where we live. Interhouse competitions were organized on activities like poster making competition, seminar, panel discussion and poetary recitation in college auditorium. The certificates and prizes were distributed to the winning students. At the end Dr.Mrs. Harbans Kaur blessed the students. She also appreciated the work of staff and students for organizing such an educational programme.
