The Institute is already nine years old and proves its excellency by showing excellent results and has successfully trained its six batches of B.Sc. Nursing, three batches of G.N.M. & one batch of Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. The products of our Institute are well placed in reputed Institutes in India as well as in Abroad and carrying the name of DAV all over the world. Dear students you have entered into a noble profession of nursing which demands tender loving care to patients. It will be a sincere & tireless effort of the Principal and faculty of this institute to educate the students for harmonious development of physical, mental, social & spiritual powers to the highest possible degree. We at the Mahatma Hans Raj DAV Institute of Nursing are endeavoring to provide you with the technical ‘know-how’, the professional skills and clinical experience that you will require to make your profession a success. In our humble way we will also endeavor to inculcate those moral qualities of empathy and compassion that Nursing requires. An individual, it is said, is a wave in the ocean.     With the blessings of Late Padma Bhushan Shri G.P Chopraji, Ex- President, DAV CMC, the Institute has been able to start the construction of Mahatma Hans Raj DAV Hospital. It has been possible due to untiring efforts of Padma Shree Dr. S.K Samaji ,Vice President DAV CMC, Sh. M.L Aeri ji, Director of Colleges and J. Kackriaji. We are sure that our worthy President Shri Punam Suri Ji will do his level best to complete the dream project of Padam Bhushan Shri G. P. ChopraJi.

    Mahatma Hans Raj DAV Multispeciality Hospital will have more than 250 beds with estimated cost of more than 60 crores. The work of hospital is 'going on at war level and skelton of the total plan has been already constructed. The whole area constructed for hospital is approximately 2 lac sq. feet having basement and four floors costing approximately 7 crores. The hospital will have all specialities and super specialities. It will be the only hospital in Jalandhar having all specialities under one roof. The interior of the hospital is under planning which is going to be of world class level.
