“WORLD IMMUNIZATION DAY CELEBRATION”

    “WORLD IMMUNIZATION DAY CELEBRATION” The students of Mahatma Hans Raj DAV Institute Of Nursing, Jalandhar celebrated World Immunization Day at Civil Hospital Jalandhar on 24th April, 2018. It is a global health campaign to raise awareness and increase rates of immunization against vaccine preventable diseases around the world . The theme of this year was “ PROTECTED TOGETHER ”. The program was celebrated by B.Sc. (N) 3rd yr students and GNM 2nd year students of our institute. The Medical Superintendent Dr Mr. K.S. Bawa also attend the event and praise the students. The Nursing Superintendent Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur Saini was also present there to motivate the students and encourage the common people to strictly follow the immunization schedule to make the country disease free. The students of our institute made various charts regarding the theme and presented the chart exhibition. They taught the people about importance of immunization and myths related to same. They also told about the new app related to immunization alerts for parents “IAP Immunizeindia”.
