International Women Day

    International Women Day On 8th March, 2018, International Women Day was celebrated at MHR DAV Institute of Nursing. The theme of this global women day was "Press for Progress." The theme comes in response to the World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap Report which measured gender inequality. The report found that we are still 200years away from gender parity in the four main themes ie economic participation and opportunity, education attainment, health and survival, political empowerment. On this important day, chart exhibition was organised by B.Sc.4th year students under the supervision of Ms. Babaldeep Kaur and Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur. The exhibition was based on Spirit of Womanhood and women empowerment. Students depicted the ideas in artistic way Principal Dr. Mrs. Veena Williams appreciate the student efforts and motivate all the girls to become strong women of 21st century.
